The Agricultural Agency is a national body for land administration and agricultural research. This institution has conducted agricultural research and advise since 1920. During the lifespan of the agency, research has been done in compliance with farmers on site, therefore the agency is on par with the farming community (SME). Our aim with this current project, is to provide instruments for improving local farming practices, in coherence with environmental improvement. BST will take actively part in Communication of WaterPro by its networking as well as in pilot phase activities to build up a knowledge transfer and communication platform. In their pilot farm in Faroe Islands will be paid attention into runoff monitoring and nutrient circulation in agriculture with different techniques. BST will organise also an transnational seminar during WaterPro and disseminate the main results in Faroe Islands and internationally.
